Welcome to Retrieve Health Centre. Thank you for booking your home visit with us! And we are thrilled to have you here. Take a moment to read the following information.

All New Clients and Returning Clients: For Pelvic floor, Postpartum, and Pregnancy concerns, please book an initial one-hour home visit. Once booked, please book two follow-up home visits a week apart, each 45 minutes, to save your spot on the schedule. Pelvic floor exams, personalized care programs, and education can be discussed during the visits.

Once booked, you will receive an email with the intake forms, which must be filled out before your Initial home visit.

CANCELLATION POLICY: This is a Friendly reminder that our cancellation policy requires 48 hours notice in advance. This policy allows us to accommodate other clients and manage our schedule effectively. Should you need to cancel, please do so with at least 48 hours notice to avoid a 50% charge. All Physiotherapy visits can be submitted to your insurance under Physiotherapy sessions.

Pelvic floor physiotherapy sessions are booked with a registered Physiotherapist who has additional training in internal vaginal and rectal assessments, and the session includes evaluation and treatment related to pelvic muscle issues, such as urinary incontinence, Pelvic organ prolapse, Tailbone pain, Bowel dysfunction, Vaginismus, Post-Hysterctomy, rectal incontinence and many more. During your first visit, expect a detailed discussion about your symptoms and medical history, followed by a physical assessment, which might include an internal examination upon your consent and which will be explained thoroughly prior. You'll receive education on pelvic floor function, an initial treatment, and a personalized exercise plan. Feel free to ask questions and express concerns to ensure you feel informed and supported.


Biofeedback Assessment/Treatment

Biofeedback for pelvic floor dysfunction involves using electronic sensors to monitor and provide visual or auditory cues about the muscle activity in the pelvic floor. It helps individuals learn to control and strengthen these muscles, and it is often used in treating conditions like Urinary Incontinence, Pelvic pain, Dyspareunia, Postpartum care for those 6 weeks postpartum and many more.
